Ben Stiller was born on November 30, 1965, in New York City, USA, into a family of actors.
His father, Jerry Stiller, was a comedian, and his mother, Anne Meara, was a television actress. Growing up in a show business environment, Ben and his sister, Amy, learned the ropes of the industry by imitating their parents and creating their own funny skits.
At the age of 10, Ben made his on-camera debut in a guest role on the TV series "Kate McShane," where his mother played the lead.
In 1976, his parents bought him an 8mm camera, and Ben enlisted his sister as his assistant to make homemade movies. These films often featured Ben seeking revenge on bullies who tormented him.
In 1983, Stiller graduated from high school and enrolled in the film department at the University of California.
However, he felt that he hadn't learned anything new and decided to return to New York City to study
