Lekshmi Nair

Lekshmi Nair is an anchor, newsreader, and chef from Kerala; she is a rank-holder in Bachelor of Arts in History at Government Women’s College, Trivandrum, and did her Masters of Arts in History from S.V.

University, Tirupathi. After that, she studied LLB, LLM, and Ph.D. from Kerala Law Academy, University of Kerala, and published many law articles in Academy Law Review. Moreover, Lekshmi Nair worked as a newsreader at Doordarshan from 1980 to 1988.

In 2007, she became the Professor of the Kerala Law Academy, and later, she became the Principle of Kerala Law Academy in Trivandrum.

Though she is from a Law background, the world got to know her through her cooking shows as she was always passionate about cooking and experimenting with new dishes.

She went to Chennai to do a crash course in cooking to advance her cooking skills in Thai style and got popular after hosting the cooking show ‘Magic Oven,’ aired on Kairali TV. It gained more attention and captured the au
