Origen (transl. Origin), is the ninth studio album by Colombian musician Juanes. It was released on 28 May through Universal Music.[1] The album is composed of twelve cover versions of songs by different artists, sung in both English and Spanish.
This album won Best Pop/Rock Album at the 22nd Annual Latin Grammy Awards and Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.[2][3]

The production of the album started in late , while the recording took place in [4] The project consisted of twelve versions of songs that influenced the childhood and teenage years of the singer, according to Juanes: "Origen is my personal tribute to several of those artists and songs that influenced me before my solo career".[5]
